About Me

My names are Laurine Akuku,I am a teacher by profession. I was born in a polygamous family my father had three wives.We were a total of 33 children.we grew up together loving each other . My father always loved school so much and took his children to school.He had many cows that provided milk and meat for the family.he could sell the animals to pay our school fees. when I was in form three there was breakout of foot and mouth disease that killed almost all the cows . my dad was left a poor man. things had changed so fast. lucky enough my elder sister paid for my remaining fees and colleges fees to study teaching..
After completing college I did not get a job,I thought as BOG teacher with salary of $50 per month for six months,during these period I used the opportunity to showcase my teaching talent. I gave the student my best and helped those with poor grades to improve the grades. soon pupils started coming for extra tuition in my one roomed rented house .I could charge them a small fees. I so these as an opportunity and rent a room near the school to provide my services to pupils from various schools to come for tuition. I provide evening classes and weekend classes and these has enhanced performance of many pupils.
I have one child aged six months. I would give him the best education so that he can be what he desires most in future.
I love children and spent most of my free time playing,singing and dancing with pupils.

My Business

I provide tuition and counseling to pupils from various schools within my region.these has always improved the performance of many children and brightened their future.my pleasure is to have a positive impact in children's life.
Most parents would always want their children to do better in school and since other are weaker in class there is need to enhance their performance through extra coaching .
I choose these business because I love children and always feels good to be around them improving their lives.
My typical costs are $100 per month for rent and electricity and learning materials.my revenues per month is $250.
I spend my money in paying fees for my sibling,buying my necessities and reinvestment to improve my services.

Loan Proposal

Hello lenders, I am requesting for a loan to purchase three desks for my pupils. I have got new admissions and rented a second room but desks for sitting has been a challenge. I wish to buy desks for the pupils so that the can sit comfortable for their classes. I would use the loan to buy three desks at $20 each. thank you in advance.
