i grew up in Nairobi kenyas capital city. Which inst the easiest town to grow up ion. It carries with it self all the hadles young people have to go through, drugs, early school dropouts... but all the same i manage to overcame all that and cleared high school. Even went all through to college where i studied dental assisting.
during my last year of college my fathers company went down hence income at home went down but i knew i had to clear college. I had to juggle working part time as a dental assistant at a small dental clinic and classes . It was very difficullt and exhausting. In that apart from the many hours of standing while assisting, i still had to attend classes every evening and over the weekends.but i finally managed to graduate,.
Everyday working as a dental assistant and as a dental materials supplier allows me to interact with persons of all ages. From the old to the young, male to female, learned to the non learned. It teaches me that we are all the same, regardless of what we look like and a smile boosts our confidence!
im not sure what my children would like to be when they grow up yet but i hope they choose to be anywhere in the health industry, hopefully dental like me because it will give them opportunity to serve others and help them get better.Which is the main idea of being a humanitarian.
When iam not working, i enjoy listening to music. I play the piano too. With time i hope to learn how to sight read musical notes

i supply dental materials to dental clinics and dental laboratories
.After working for some times i realized the great challenge dentists ,had in getting genuine and reliable suppliers of dental materials.Just from the basics which are PPEs which are gloves, masks and coats to cements, restorative materials etc.Hence the idea to start dental materials supplying.
these goods are in demand because they are what run a dental clinic. eg, fro a tooth to be extracted. the dentist will need to give the patient anesthetic . when hes done he will have to put a gauze on the open wound. Every single dental procedure has to be done using some sort of instrument and material.
most dentists don't have the time to leave their practices to look for this instruments hence great demand for reliable suppliers.Averagely a standard size dental clinic that has only one dental chair and dentist spends between 20-30000 ksh(200-300 Usd) on purchase of dental materials. Depending on the practices specialty.
my typical cost implications for supply of these materials monthly ranges between 20-40,000ksh. but over the months ive been able to expand my clientele bases hence need to expand my capital in Oder to satisfy demand.
i normally dont use my profits. i save all of it, because i aim on opening a dental clinic come the end of 2017. The money i i make i plan on using it to buy a dental chair, compressor and pay rent for a business premise.if all goes well.
i will buy (import dental equipments) more than the stock i had so that i may be able to reach more demand and supply more.
i will be able to buy rubber dams, gloves, masks, sterilizing fluids and alginayes which are the number onr things that are mostly ordered.
i will be able to make profit of between 20,000-30,000 ksh which is 200$-300$.i plan on saving half the money so i can be able to ope. a dental clinic come december
