About Me

I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is approximately 43km from Nakuru town. Nakuru town is our nearest major town within this area. I am married with one child who is in school. I live in plot number 93 at the shopping center where I carry out my business with my family. My business entails a wood workshop at the shopping center. I make all sort of wooden furniture in my business.

My Business

My business entails a wood workshop at the shopping center. I make all sort of wooden furniture in my business. The goods that I make I sell them to residents of this areas and others I take them to nearest major towns such as Nakuru, Gilgil and Naivasha. The main challenges that this business encounters are drought which affects the market, lack of finance to expand the business and high cost of electricity.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,
I would like to use the loan that I will get from Zidisha Organization to buy a rolling machine and a carving machine. This will be very important in my business as most times I have to pay for these services. This has prompted me to decide to buy the machines so as to reduce the cost and increase production in my business. I will also be able to produce more quality products as I will be doing the rolling and carving by myself.

    Dear Lenders,

my name is Roberta Zenere and I am a Kenya Country Liaison Intern at Zidisha. Within this role, I am coordinating the Zidisha's MPESA team, responsible for processing loan repayments and disbursements.

Today, while reviewing our accounts, I noticed that the repayment of 141.02 USD (11,970 KES) posted on September, 15 in the repayment schedule of Mr Mwenda was entered by mistake. This means that, upon removal of the transaction, the amount that had been credited to your lender account will be reversed and will reduce your available balances accordingly.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. Please, let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Best regards,

    Roberta
    Zidisha Team
