am married with 5 children who are all schooling i live in kiptagwanyi gecha village plot no 224. being the one of the 8 vilaage in kiptagwanyi.kiptagwanyi is about 43 kilometer from nakuru town which is the major town in this area. i started this business of collecting milk and selling after realizing that it is profitable as many people want milk and thy cant access it so i collect to the farmers who has the cow and at that time there was no company that was buying milk, not like now, and also know it is better because i buy also from the farmer who have small quantity and i sell it to the company making my end month money more than others who sell there own. but i have a problem earlier i was transporting the milk using the old motorbike but it breakdown thus made me to transport using hand and make my work harder , and having this big family i must work because thy depend on me. if i can get loan i want to add the money i have and buy a new bike so that i can buy more milk from the farmers the money i got caters for my family food and children education and i save some.
my business entail in collecting and selling milk from the farmers to the company and i sold also to the hotel around for the day to day use but from the company pay the company pay after 1 month, the business is profitable and the demand of my product is very high in this area. the main challenge is luck of finances, poor road, high rate of poverty in this area, and also high interest rate from the micro finances around this area that made as poor because after paying back you remain with nothing thus making impossible to develop in business
dear lenders my business of milk buying and transport have became very difficult because i use bicycle to transport milk to my milk bar and also to the brook-side destination where lorry came and pick it.in this loan i want to buy a motorbike to make my work easier and affordable to buy milk to the farmers who have a small quantity. in that way i will be able to collect as much milk as i can and also quicker
