About Me

my name is simon Njathumba, a masaai and a resident of Narok town, Njathumba in our language means hardship. I was therefore named so because my mother struggled so much while giving birth to me.
school was a problem in our area and for that reason majority of students from this are did not access school to higher levels. I dropped out of school in class seven because of this challenge.
people from our community are blessed by jumping power which to us is a source of entertainment. I together with some friends decided to start up a band for entertaining tourists who visits the great masaai mara every now and then. that is how i managed to start my own business.
what is unique with our land is our masaai culture and bravery. we can survive in any sort of environment inhabited by anything. We are very bold and courageous

My Business

I offer entertainment services to the locals living in Narok as well as the foreign tourist who visits our land, we dance the traditional dances, jump up high and this entertains the people.
the services that i offer is very useful because it help people relax after a busy day and on the other hand i also make a living through the same.
i chose this business because the market for the tourists was readily available, and the dancing and jumping was my talent i therefore danced without struggling.
i have been using the income that i generate to support my family for example i pay school fees for my brother who is currently in form three, i provide food for my parents and also use the money to develop and grow our dancing business

Loan Proposal

I will buy a new dancing attire for my dancing team. a good attire costs 30 us dollars, given this loan, i will buy one attire for one person and then look for money and buy for the others. we are a team of six.
we will benefit so much because with new dancing attires, we will be looking good and attractive in front of our customers and therefore provide good services to them
I believe we will witness a raise in our daily income.
