About Me

Am a young ambitious young 25years old from central province, My parents are both farmers and i found my interest in farming, Maize is the cash crop of my lovely country Kenya and every farmer depends on good harvest of maize which is always on demand.
After completion of high school in Mugomoini high school i dint make to college, My father pushed me to doing agronomy short courses with a company known as homegrown, Home grown helped me understand most of farming techniques and most use of inorganic fertilizers which shaped my skills in farming.
My father owns 5 acres of land and in collaboration we set our goals in doing rotation farming were we grow maize and vegetables, This year we did not succeed in vegetables but the maize is doing quiet great and we expect a bumper harvest.
My siblings are in school both taking there primary education.
I like farming and selling which is the best part of the whole farming project.
Me and my father we are very close and all he ever wish for me is to take over and make is farming project a success.
I struggle hard to met my fathers dream and see to it a success in all we do. I believe in farming and feeding my community gives me happiness.

My Business

I do farming for a living i plant maize and vegetables for sell, It takes 6 months from the time of planting to harvesting and last year we reached an average of 16 sacks per acre and got a total of 80 sacks which we sold 70 gave 5 to church and speared 5 for use at home, This year we have an projection of 100 sacks and God willing we will reach close to our projections.
A sack goes for 2200 Kenya shillings and all the profit we get we use to pay fee for my brothers and sisters and management of the farm.
Farm inputs like fertilizers manure and other raising need to spend in the process of plantation to maturity cost us 25000 Kenya shillings for all the five acres.
I love taking care of my family and being close to my dad gives me the privilege to do so.
LET US JOIN HANDS IN FEEDING THE PEOPLE AND AFRICA GOT THE POTENTIAL.

Loan Proposal

Its a blessing to reach here and today i wish to write my proposal and let you know that you assistance will be of great value.
After deduction for registration and loan reserve fee, I will remain with $69.
now lets see my expenses at a rate of 100 Kenya shillings per us dollar.
Before digging a manure pit
i will need manure to be in site transport cost $10
lab our for digging $10
manure cost per kg $1 by 40kgs = $40.
In-case of raising need $9.
total money spend $69.

This will ease the cost of farm inputs by 80 percent and would not need to buy organic fertilizers thus giving more profits and quality production.

I could not reach Joseph Waweru on phone. Same for Marion, who referred him, as well as Timothy, his community leader. Will try again later.
