Good morning,
I'm a Diploma holder in Procurement and logistics and Several certificates on management. I have been brought up by a single Mum in a family of four and have strived to ensure I give my children a better life than the one my parent gave us. Not that it was bad but her finances ensured we only got the basic needs.
I worked for a couple of years in the fashion retail industry whereby one day there was theft in the warehouse and all the workers were layed off. I was amongst them. With meagre savings which could not last me for two months it then downed on me I had to create an income generating activity to make ends meet as I was going through a very hard time trying to find another job.
Its then I identified Cleaning Services and Waste management services which most professionals shy from. I convinced one of my friends we pull up resources together and we started our company.
I live in Kenya, A country vibrant in culture and Fertile soils not forgetting very favorable climatic conditions.
My child is Four years old now but and I endavour to give her full support to support her dreams.
Lastly I just love traveling.
I'm currently self employed. I am in the service industry providing services in Cleaning and waste management. It is a well paying venture but our main challenge is lack of enough resources to effectively and efficiently give our services. We recently acquired our own truck and are doing well in repaying it despite several challenges here and there.
We have been hiring a Floor scrubbing machine but we would like to acquire our own. This will increase our margins and efficiency.
We love this job in that it creates employment to the youth and also ensures we are living in habitable conditions.
We have been offering Cleaning services by use of hired machines. This has been affecting our efficiency as at times we are forced to change cleaning schedules ( as a result of machines being hired to someone else) which has not gone well with our clients.
We feel once we acquire our own machine we will greatly improve our efficiency and at the same time increase our margins. This will also mean more work as we shall now market our services more as we are assured of machines availability.
Thank you for your continued support.
