About Me
I am an accountant by profession, married with a small daughter. I am undertaking my Bachelors in Commerce at Catholic University; I am also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a diploma in Business Management. I want to start a new business of selling fresh juice and smoothies to since I have done my research and found that many Kenyans now are becoming health-conscious people who are seeking alternatives to the high-sugar, high-fat beverages offered by companies. I have already establish a market near, since this is a new business, I want to start small scale to see the demand of my new juice and smoothie menu that I have been developing for some time now.
My Business
As I have already mentioned, I would like to venture into a new business of fresh juice and smoothies, many Kenyans now are becoming health-conscious people who are seeking alternatives to the high-sugar, high-fat beverages offered by companies. I have already establish a market near, since this is a new business, I want to start small scale to see the demand of my new juice and smoothie menu that I have been developing for some time now. The loan will be used to purchase a small commercial blender @ USD. 140. Currently there is no such business within my estate which has a very high population of middle class. From my research, there is a good market that has not been explored.
I have developed 5 flavors of smoothies that will retail at USD 1.8 for a glass of 500ML and USD 1.2 for a glass of 300ML, I estimate monthly sales to be USD 585. The total monthly estimated cost will be USD 385.
Loan Proposal
The loan will be used to purchase a small commercial blender @ USD. 140. This will make it easier to make juice/smoothies in large quantities to meet the expected daily demand as per the market research. Many Kenyans now are becoming health-conscious people who are seeking alternatives to the high-sugar, high-fat beverages offered by companies. I have already establish a market near, since this is a new business, I want to start small scale to see the demand of my new juice and smoothie menu that I have been developing for some time now.
