Well i am a young man and a God fearing person, born and brought up in a rural set up.Sine i was young i was taken to school just like any other child during that time. While at Primary school i helped my parents to do domestics work like rearing cows and goats.Beside i was rearing my own Rabbits.
When i joined secondary school,i worked hard until i completed the secondary education.I realized that my parents were struggling doing ordinary jobs to educate me and my other siblings. My parents told me to wait for my younger brothers and sisters to complete up to secondary school education in order to find some money to take me to a technical college to pursue a skill. This could have taken me like 10 years. In stead, i was called by my uncle in Nairobi city to stay with him while helping him.My uncle is a tailor.Throughout my stay with my uncle i demonstrated patience and tolerance. He started showing me how to make clothes like dresses, trousers and shirts. The skill was easy to learn and i became a full tailor too.Unfortunately,my uncle passed away and i opted to continue with the tailoring job.As i speak now my job is well paying and now concentrating with making new clothes especially for the Christmas festivals. This is how i started my own business achieved an important goal in my life. What is unique in the area i stay is that community applauds hard work and culture of helping one another in the community. My children would like to get the very best education and necessary skills to be productive in life.My hobbies are usually vising the unfortunate in the society as well as the children homes. We from our church we visit children homes.
Thank you.
Thank you.Personally my business is in production.I make clothes, both new and repair the old.I offer services in repairing the old clothes that clients gives me.These services are very useful especially when it comes to School uniforms.many parents may opt to repair the torn and worn out children uniforms or they give me the option of making a new uniform.I choose this business because i like it and love my profession as a tailor besides giving me my daily bread. This is the only skill i have so i have to make the best out of it.Usually my typical costs are costs of buying new materials, electricity, rent, transport and maintenance of sewing machines.
However my profit is usually geared towards helping my parents back home paying my bills and reinvesting in the same business.
Thank you.
Once I get my next loan will concentrate with buying clothes making materials for children and ladies dresses. This forms the largest of my customers.
I will buy assorted soft & lining sponge for children dresses at a cost of $89.00 and $76.00 respectively.
I will also buy the ladies jean materials for trousers at a cost of $120.00.
The remainder buy sewing threads at a cost $8.00 and others to cater for transport.
This will result to an increase in my profit from the current USD 80.00 to 100.00 per week.
This will be an advantage to my parents who will be waiting for my help as well as my clients getting what they demand and attract more customers seeking the same services. My market targets will go farther to a regional supply of my clothes designs to various shopping malls in the area. I look forward to win a supply tender for finished designer clothes in the market. My life will never be the same again.
To you my lenders I continue to thank you for your support and motivation in my life. Long life!
Thank you.
