About Me

a hardworking single mother of one child struggling with the though economy and poverty in my country.
Growing up I watched my dad struggle to raise money for family upkeep, He used to be a mechanic watching him lay under cars made me work hard while in school with hopes to one day change life for my parents.
I always wanted to see a better life a life where I can provide everything they need.
I have worked in the education sector for three years before the covid 19 pandemic which lead to some teacher dismissed as some schools were being shut down, It's then that I started thinking what should I do to keep busy and to survive raise money for food and basic needs.
I started a poultry farm but didn't work at first, I lost 600 chiks and was discouraged after losing capital, later own 100 of the remaining birds started producing eggs which I sold and started expanding the farm, now with 300 layers and 50 cocks producing 240 eggs a day.
I also run a small shop where I sell food stuffs like bread, milk, eggs, cooking oil, e.t.c

My Business

A poultry farm where I produce fresh eggs good for nutrition and sell chiken droppings, I produce 240 eggs selling at 20 Kenya shillings making a profit of 10 Kenya shillings after expenses.
The money I generate from the droppings is used to pay my one employee who helps with cleaning the coupe and collecting eggs.
I use the money to slowly expand the farm through buying of other chickens and for family upkeep.
My target is to get to 1000 birds that's why am sourcing for funds to expand and achieve my target, This will I will employ morr people and also sell more eggs earn more income.

Project Proposal

Once I receive the loan I will put my focus on buying of chiken pellets which boosts chiken health and promotes laying of eggs.
