I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity in funding small business traders. I am extremely honored to have received the first loan.
I am a senior student in accounting majoring in finance in the Chandaria School of business at the United States International University-Africa. While in school, I have tutored other students in math and computer. After I obtain my bachelor’s degree, I hope to attend graduate school and pursue a Masters degree in Finance and eventually start my own company.
This loan is valuable to me, as it has helped immensely boost my business and generally sells as l continue to nurture my entrepreneurial skills.
Ultimately, I hope to have be successful in business field, because I have gained some skills, knowledge and experience doing it.
Thank you again for your consideration.
With gratitude,
Isaac Anuri Osindi

My Business

l started hawking mtumba clothes and shoes until we opened a small shop in partnership with a friend. This clothes have high demand because of their affordable prices. On the other hand this business is easy to start and manage because it requires little capital as low as 20USD.The income l get(150USD pm) part of it goes to the expenses i.e rent 35 USD,food 20 USD electricity 5USD ,other expenses 30 and the rest l add stoke plus savings. The main challenges of this business is competition from brand new clothes, limited stoke and high transport costs and also the declining quality of second hand clothes. Also the government is discouraging buyers from this products. But generally second hand clothes and shoes are unique and attractive to customers hence yield an aggregate advantage selling them.

Project Proposal

I would like to rear chickens (layers) in my small farm in Kitengela farm. l want to start this since their is ready market for eggs in kitengela where am based. One egg goes for 13 shillings, which translates to 390 shillings per tray. Starting this project , however small it is l believe in it is ability to yield returns.
