My name is Joseph Chinambu am 27years old.
I was born and raised in Lusaka in a family of 6 of which am the last born.
I completed my high school in 2007 at Gospel Outreach Christian Academy from the I obtained my bachelor of arts degree in banking and finance at Cavendish University in 2012.
I come from a background of farming we grew crops rared some livestock and poutry. It is from this background where we overcame hardship by selling our produce and it helped me achieve my goal of completing my education and acquiring my degree.
From the same background of farming I developed a passion to start up my own business in dealing with feed and chicks due to the high demand of feed around my area because many people are into the poutry business as there are no competitors in the feed supply.
Well personally I love to connect with especially business wise because it exposes me to potential clients and business partners.
Secondly I love to read, travel, watch soccer.
I supply chicken feed
I say so because it's a business that has market and high demand amongest farmers.
I have a passion for this business hence, the decision to get into it. Feed sales faster due to high demand of chickens amongest the general public.
I spent $150 on the bags each going at $15 every after 2weeks which gives me a revenue of $250 which gives me $100 after selling at $25 per bag. Other costs are used for transportation.
Currently profits made are reinvested into the business for further expansion of my business and for my well being.
To my existing business as a chicken feed supplier I would like to add on day old chicks go for 0.6cents for one chick I will purchase 9boxes of chicks at a total $90 the other $10 will cutter for my transport and other costs.
As the business expands I will be position to meet intended targets and revenues and also bringing business closer to my customers so they shouldn't travel very far to buy day old chicks hence increasing clientele base. From my projected investment the loan will help me increase my profit by at least 15% as I embark on expanding my business.
