Well, thank you most sincerely for the opportunity.
To describe my childhood.I was born and brought up in a rural set up where children are raised, taken to school and get involved in matters of domestic activities like rearing cattle and cultivation.I went through primary and secondary school. My parents were mere peasants and cattle keepers. This could only help feeding us as well as paying the school fees for our education. At times,my father could do old jobs in an effort just to put the meal on the table.I waited for long to be taken to a technical school to acquire skills necessary to get a job. There was lack of money and the burden of other siblings.Later i went to Nairobi city where i started staying with my uncle who was a carpenter.Though i could help him with his job of making furniture ,i developed an interest of getting to know some skills in his profession. After one year i was fully skilled on almost every thing in carpentry.Unfortunately,i deferred with my uncle and started selling second hand Goods.Later on i started making new furniture after getting some money from my father who was not happy with my uncle who mistreated me.I worked so hard that i do even better than my uncles in the field he showed me.This is how i became a self employed, owned a business and overcame the hardship. The unique feature about the place i live is that, community appreciate the contribution that people do towards making a sustainable activity. My children would like to be brought up in the best way possible,be educated and acquire the skills to get jobs.My hobbies are visiting children homes and helping the unfortunate in our society.
Thank you.
