my name is Joseph .my schooling has been good though most of it has been in the village in the rural area that has provided me with endurance to the difficulties that the life may portend.I stayed most of my childhood years in kakamega and this is a place that is visit frequently even now .
i over come difficulties in life my looking into my achievement through adversities and support from my faith organisation.i rely so much on the bible for motivation and through that get to achieve my goals in life.
i started my business after school and decided to rare quails .i got savings from my previous job and found out a business idea when i last went to kakamega and realized that i can make money through quail business.
in nakuru where i like there is convergence of cultures making it a good place to live in.people are social and land is a treasured thing that everyone one to acquire.
when my children grow up i would like them to be in the army and serve the country.i have always wanted to be in the army and never got selected so my kids should now join the forces and then later in life join me in business.
my business is keeping quail.I buy the quails from kakamega and most of the western kenya then feed then after attaining good weight then sell them to the hotels and people who feel of them.quails are famed for their nice meat and also their eggs have medicinal value. nakuru being a cosmopolitan town always enable me to sell the quails and the eggs because there are cultural days organised by the hotels monthly and there they usually order the quails and then i get money from the sale.i make between $120 to $180 per month.the money got i use to pay school fees ,pay my bills and also reinvest in the business.
when i get the loan l will go to kakamega and the western kenya towns where quails are in plenty and use $90 to buy the birds and $10, l will put in transport.i will feed them until they gain considerable weigh then sell them double the price l bought them at.the eggs laid also i will sell to make more profits and also in the breeding.this will help me be able to employ one person to help me in the tending to the birds
