About Me
My name is Mapesi Masami Mapesi, am a graduate of bachelor of Business administration 2014, at University of Iringa.
I started to employ myself in Beekeeping Business to solve the challenge of
1. Organic Honey.
2. Environment conservation.
3. Unemployment for youth and women’s.
I started my business 2019 with the capital of TZ.3,500,000 of which I used it to buy Modern Bee Hives, packaging materials, as well as to facilitate payments to 2 women who was employed in my business.
For now I have 6 employed persons in which 60% of them are women with the capital of TZ. 22,000,000 and 12 hectors of land.
My Business
My Business grow from owning 10 bee hives to 100 bee hives in which I harvest more than 2 tone per season, we harvest two times per year.
On top of that
1.We provide bee keeping knowledge to my fellow villagers and community.
2.Environmental conservations knowledge to community.
3.Manufacturing of modern bee hives.
4. Pollination solution service to other farmers and consultations.
5.Beekeeping consultation.
The increase of demand in my business I faced with the challenge of meeting demand requirements due to incapacity honey production, because of insufficiently capital to increase production proportionate to the increase in demand to my customers. Due to the reason above I request TZ. 280,000 ($118) to increase honey production by increasing bee hives in my bee farm.
