I am a small scale Farmer and bar/ liquor business man. I started my business in 2018 after I dropped out of university to sponsor my siblings education. I am the only breadwinner of my family and with this economy it has been far from easy. but I am grateful that my farming and business is able to sustain me despite all the challenges.
Shi konko umu folo Bar is a unique gathering place in lusaka. By providing exemplary service a vast selection of beer and wines and local award winning food in a relaxed comfortable setting, the Shi konko umu folo is the premier bar that ‘the locals’ go to in lusaka Zambia.
I am also a farmer mainly in maize farming that is seasonal as now is the rainy season in Southern Africa I have ventured in maize and cotton farming. Zambias staple food being maize I contribute to the 2% of the countries maize stocks.
I would like to get spares for my ploughing tractor. As this is the time we are removing weeds from the crops, my plough needs new spares to have a smooth farming season.
I am aware of the risks but I have a higher advantage as other farmers are buying seedings and vegetables from me for resale. it is very unlikely that I can fail to pay the loan also this is not my only source of income as I run a bar.
