I am Kyeremeh Bismark a thirty year long man.I am married with two kids.I hail from Nsuhia near Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo region of the Ghana. Growing up in a farming community I combined schooling with helping my mum on the farm who was the only person responsible with my education.I started school at the basic school in my community and from there had an admission to study General Science at the Dormaa Senior High School in the year 2001.Though I had to be assisting my mother on the farm as well as doing some menial jobs, I excelled in the final exams but could not be able to enter any college for two years. After working around the country for two i manage to save and with the backing of my mum I entered the college of education in 2007 at Enchi in the Western Region of Ghana. After completion in 2010 I was posted to teach at KDK JHS where i am currently teaching. At my part times and holidays i decided to rear some livestock and as such i now have four old pigs two males and two females(sows) and have eight piglets. Pork is very well patronize in the community and if I am able to rear more there is always a ready market.Over the two year period into this venture; expansion has been very difficult due to my inability to access a loan. My first kid is in school now hoping to becoming a medical doctor in the not too distant future. I am trying my very best to helping my kids acquire the best form of education without going through the very hardships I had been through which impeded my own very dream of become a medical doctor. My hobbies include playing and watching football and reading.
My business is a livestock production of pigs.I am into pig rearing and over the years I have been making some good profits from the venture. It is a very good business in this part of the world. it has a ready market and the patronage is so great.Pork is eaten by a lot of people here during special occasion as Christmas buyers troop to buy from the market where they are butchered. This is what inspired me to go into the business of rearing pigs.Feeding them though demanding but not so difficult here because there are most of the food around.a piglet is sold at about a hundred Ghana cedis for a female and about eighty Ghana cedis for the male. One can be sold at about three hundred to six hundred Ghana cedis depending on its size.It takes about four to six months for the pig to get matured depending on the breed. The profit from the business so far is being reinvested partly and partly to sponsor my kids and myself in schooling.
I would now want to buy some additional new piglets to add up to those that i have been able to buy with the last loan I took. The previous loans that I took helped me to buy two new piglets. As I said, in the previous application, I will need about 500 dollars to take charge of about five young pigs hence this application. With my performance in repaying and improvement with regards to the livestock production, I am of the utmost hope that this application will be granted.
