My name is Quaye Sylvia Nana. I am 29 years old and i am from Accra, the capital of Ghana but due to my families occupation, I'm now staying in Berekum. I started schooling at Accra and came to Berekum to complete my education. I completed Presbyterian Senior High in the year 2003 but due to financial problem, i could not continue with my education. A friend of mine introduced me to this selling of second wear clothes and store clothes. At first were buying them from Sunyani the capital town of Brong-Ahafo to sell at Berekum. This business helped me so much and even helped me cater for my junior brothers education since my Parents cannot work now due to their health. I have no children of mine but i am catering for my Junior brother, who wants to be a police man in the near future. I love to read and swim when i am free and not working. I also love to chat with friends on facebook at my leisure time
I sell clothes thus, women's dress(straight dress,Jeans), panties, necklaces, watches, slippers. these goods are useful to the society because people in that community buys these goods and wears them to church and also buys some for their children to school. I enjoy high demand because I am the only person selling those in that area or community.. I love fashion and i know what my customers demand and that's why i choose this profitable business. I started my business with $150 for which i always enjoy high demand and gains profit of $40 every month. I have been using the profits the further my Junior brothers education and also saving some amount to buy a bigger store room to help me expand my business and also employ the youth in my community.
I will be buying watches,necklaces,hand-bags,shoes and what my customers will demand from me. I sometimes spend about $150 to purchase clothes when i go to take goods but for the goods that i have mentioned, it will sum up to about $100 for which i will be able to get about $25 as profits. I have decided to expand my shop and take someone who will help me in case i have gone to buy clothes from my buyers and this loan will also help me to feed my family and myself. I will plead with the lenders of the zidisha team to come to my aid and help me with the amount requested so that i can achieve what i have planned.
