About Me

My name is Sydney Makina and I am 21 years old. I completed my schooling in 2015 and Rahim Memorial High School in Mazabuka. In my free time I enjoy playing football and listening to music. I am also active in my local church. I may seem young, but I am very dedicated to business and improving my situation. I would love to go back to school someday.

My Business

With this loan I intend to open a small grocery in my village. I would be selling things such as cooking oil, mealie meal, salt, sugar, kapenta (dry fish), as well as other things. Right now there is not a place to buy these things close by and I think that I could profit. I was able to start buying materials with my first loan and am hoping to buy some small items with this one.

Loan Proposal

I am opening a small grocery store within my village. Right now the village lacks a place to buy items and people have to travel upwards 10km to buy them. I will use this loan to purchase some inventory such as cooking oil, mealie meal, kapenta (dry fish), salt, sugar, and others.
