My name is Jeremiah Njenga Kariuki . i come from Karunga from Maili Saba along Nakuru/Nyahururu road you branch on your right, you go past a school called St. John Secondary then to Karunga Shopping Centre it is about 300 meters from the centre to my place. Ask for the home of Paul Njenga near P.C.E.A Church Karunga.Iam a family man with one wife and two children. I was born at molo in nakuru county where i went to primary school later i went to secondary which was just near our home. Then after school i relocated to Karung where i started a business later i bought a shamba and settled there. i was able to grow in business due to the friends and neighbor who were very encouraging to me even when the business was down. My children would like to be medical doctors when they grow up.
I do the business of growing crops and keeping diary cows. I grow crops like wheat, maize, beans ect.for sale and also for our use at our home. From the business Iam able to educate my children and pay my bills. I do not pay house rent because I stay in my farm I get about 800000 annually from my business. i sell cereals like Maize, wheat ,beans, peas etc which i grow in my farm. i also sell milk and chicken for meat from my farm. i choose this kind of business because i live in the farm and that is where i operate. my typical costs and revenue is only land rates which is usually paid once per year. i use the profits to pay for school fees for y children , reinvestment in growing business, home improvement and others.
I would like to buy farm inputs to boost my farming business i would like to buy fertilizer fol ire feeds and herbicides to spray my wheat that is about 40000 Kes which is now in the farm. The remaining amount 50000 Kes will be used to pay for the workers who are working in the farm now , during harvest time and for transportation. Thank you very much.
