Hello Zidisha , I am Mwangi Gakuo and i Hail from Nyeri Vicinity this is where i have been brought up near aberdare ranges ,from a humble background i went to primary school in Kiriti primary school from year 1993 up 2002 to Joined Secondary high school in Tetu High school in year 2003 to 2006 and after that i enrolled in Mathenge Technical college year 2007 for Carpentry and Joinery 1 year course and after that i enrolled in Teaching in A Polytechnic School within our locality in 2009 and after i started my self employment in nyeri Town in year 20134 and Opened an Office near my residence Home called Elifra furniture ventures.
My business deals with furniture inventories like sofa sets, tables, Sugar dishes, chairs, PVC cellings, wardrobe and like. My materiasl i fetch them from the hardwares and sawmills. my stock as per now is worthy $300 dollars and still expanding since the customers are in need of the items as the enter to new houses especially here in town. i choose these business since its works with local and available materials.I normally get a profit from the items when i sell them at around $ 450 dollars when per every month making a profit of 150&. So my business is making out of the items i normally make 33% . This caters for my saving $50, house rent 20$
,food $ 40 and 12 dollars for travelling, and school fees for young daughter is 28$.
Since i cannot be able to meet some customers target i want to buy electrical equipments for carpentry in order to work efficiently. I would be glad to be funded.
best regards
Once i receive the 11.5$ i will stipulate the amount by buying materials with just 8$ and the rest i will buy tax nails to fix the velvet materials on a just made structure of a sofaset . I will the sell the sofaset, for the initial cost of buying the materials i will make a 30% profit which can cater for my expenses and repaying back the refunds to Zidisha and the lenders. On this month hence for the business is promising since within our environment its agricultural land and with bump harvest ,comfort comes first and purchases of our furniture products will hit market.
