About Me

My names are Grace Nyambura. A mother of two a girl who is 18yrs old and a boy who is 10yrs old. Am a single mum.
I a registered clinical officer who works in the rural Kenya. I run a small health facility that caters for a community that is an agricultural one that is about 15kms from where the main town.
Am a hardworking clinician who loves Clerking,examining,testing and diagnosing my clients for the best possible health services.

My Business

I run a clinic in the rural Kenya...in kirinyaga county,mwea sub county. The people I serve are mostly old women and children who cannot afford to commute 15kms on a rough road with a motor bike(mode of transport).
I also care for emergencies that affect the community since the government owned health centre is mostly without drugs. The facility also helps women with family planning and prenatal care.

Project Proposal

Working in the rural areas of kirinyaga county in kenya,my old patients who have diabetes,hypertension and other old age related ailments often need this drugs on credit until the government pays them a monthly stipend then they come pay for the medication...sometimes there is delays in the money coming in from the government so my business suffers.
For the mother's with children when they become sick in the middle of the month the kids must get the treatment and the mothers pay at the end of the month.
With this funds am going to be cushioned and wait for the payment without so much strain on my side.
The community needs us as health workers to be there for them always. This platform will help that dream become a reality
