I am a single mother of 4 children 3 girls one boy, i was born in kisa kwisero location, i grew up and went to school in the rural area of kakamega county, as a young girl i grew up with only 2 dresses one was my school uniform the other one was a dress that had one thousand patches that i hand sewed myself, i am proud mother and i work hard for my children so that they are able to reach heights that i never reached while i was young, i want all my daughters to get a good education, after that i want them to get good jobs or get into business but they will need capital, for my son i want him to study hard and learn to be a responsible man in the future, who will contribute to his community and his family one day God willing. My child hood was not full of dreams and hope, that is why i want children to be better.my culture is very accommodating and tolerant to all, my daughters dream is to be head big companies, so they dream to go to university, my son wants to be a surgeon, my hobby is working with my community to protect the rights of children i volunteer.
I am farmer i have leased a farm in kiserian, i grow vegetable all round the year, i have green pepper, spinach, kales, i grow them because it has a ready market around the markets in Nairobi, i sell them suppliers who come to my farm buy them , and this how i make a living, My profits pay for the education of my four children, i pay my house rent the lease of the land, and running of the farm once i have planted i must employ people to help me in weeding.
The loan will go to purchase of a water pump machine that uses petrol, i will use the 6000kshs to top and buy it, Currently the river that was close by has dried due to the hot sun, now i have to get water from the main river that is a bit far.The distance it the size of two soccer pitches, without a water pump that is mine , i have to hire it and its very costly i cant afford it, i will make losses that i cant afford,This loan will enable me avoid a huge loss.
