About Me

My name is Judith Kamara Cheshari, born on 2nd March 1971in Kissawai, Kinyoro Location,Kinyoro Division,Saboti Sub County,Trans-Nzoia County in Kenya. I went to Kissawai Primary School from year 1977 to 1981.Due to backward culture on girl child, I was forced to get married in my early age that is in the year 1987. Am blessed with six children, 4 girls and 2 boys. I have one in the University, another one in primary school and the rest in college.

My Business

Due to lack of education I resorted to farming. I practice mix farming. I do farm bananas, maize and beans, sugarcane and rearing of dairy cows. All these earns meKsh. 50,000/=($500) per month. This helps me educate my children and at the same time cater for family day to day needs.
I have been doing this for many years. Weather pattern in our place is quite favourable as far as crop farming and rearing of animals is concern. I have a desire to expand my business since the crops that I produce in the farm and milk have a ready market, but I do not have enough money to enable me expand my business. When I heard about how Zidisha has turned around peoples’ lives, then I was convinced that am the next in the line of success. If I can get Ksh.96,000($960) as a booster, my Agri-business will be on the move.

I will use the money to a Panga.
It will help me pruning and thinning and save time going to borrow.
