About Me

My name Humphrey Kafula a Zambian citizen by birth. I reside in the capital city of Zambia in Chipata Compound. I completed my Secondary at Munali Secondary School. Am married and I have lovely 3 children. I am entrepreneur , my occupation is agriculture extension officer working at the Ministry of Agriculture. I started working at the Ministry for past 5 years and I have vast experience as agriculture extension officer. I have a stable income and in addition to that I have a small business which am developing to increase my financial capacity. Looking at background where am coming from hard working has been my first priority to achieve important goals in my life especially in my academic work. However, our land is very fertile in terms of agriculture farming and most people are involved in farming business. I wish my children to become teachers, or medical doctors or engineers. My hobby is that I love reading and going to church and during my pastime I enjoy watching the English premier league and I love swimming.

My Business

Am involved in livestock business I rear cattle and pigs. For cattle I produce beef and milk which I sale. For Pigs I sale pork chops and meat. Both beef and pork chops are highly consumable and are usually in demand. With this business I generate a lot of money and the turnover is very high. My aim is to improve and develop this business by acquiring cold rooms for storage. I need the butchery equipment as such meat display fridge, sausage filler, price computing scale, mincer, heavy duty, bandsaw, stainless steel plain top table and stainless steel double prep bowl sink and these will proximately cost up to K 35,000.00. Am looking forward to be supported so as to develop my butchery business.

Project Proposal

With the funds applying for, I would like to buy the most important equipment in my butchery; A band saws, cutting meat is not an easy job , but a lot of people benefit from it. I need to buy the refrigeration equipment, knives and kitchen supplies , meat grinders , meat slicers, the refrigerated Deli cases and scales. All these items will cost me ZMW 40,000, With these items in my butchery I will be able to ran my business effectively and generate good revenue and make more profits.
