I am last born in a family of three children, my parents perished in a road accident while I was 6 months old. I was raised by my loving ant,who took me to school and ensured I was well, utill I reached form three, the she also perished in an accident ,after my aunts death life become very tough,I had to drop out of school for a year and work as a house girl to raise fees,I then wen back and completed my studies. After secondary school,I joined hair dressing and beauty college .
I graduated with a certificate in hair dressing and beauty and worked as an intern for six months without pay ,to sharpen my skills,I then worked for three months with pay and managed to save $200 and borrowed $300 from a friend ,I then decided to open my own business. the business is doing well but I am still equipping it more.
I love singing and I am the choir master our local church. I also love meeting new people ,making friends and advising and mentoring young women.
I run a saloon that provides services such as facial scrubbing, hair dressing and treatment, manicure and pedicure. The business services are in demand because most women need the services.
I choose these business because I love it and I am always passionate while doing my work, apart from earning a living from the job,I also get self satisfaction.
In a month I spend $100 on rent and $50 on electricity and water. my montly revenues average is $300.
I use my income to help my cousin who is still in school through fees payment, taking care of my basics and saving for investment.
I am very grateful for my first loan ,it indeed helped me very much. I am kindly requesting for a second loan to help me expand my business through purchase of beuty products such as oils, and jewellery, that I would sell from my salon. These would help me improve my business me improve business revenues and clientele base.I am looking forward to doubling my revenues.Thank you
