my name is Pauline Apondi ,I am the fouth born in a family of 5 children ,my dad was a a nurse and my mum was a teacher, they both succumbed to cancer related complications when I was only 14 years and in my form 1. After the death of my parents life was never the same again. my older siblings who were now doubling as my parents could not afford to raise fees and other basic needs, we conducted fund raising on several occasions until I finished secondary school. I passed well and got scholarship to join Kenya medical training school as a nutritionist.
I completed the training these year in April and has not been lucky enough to find a good job, I started a small business in my village to sell children nutritive food. I strategically placed the business near the hospital gate and the turn over is amazing. the business is booming and I am only looking for funds to expand it, I am no longer interested in find a job since I am contended with my current position.
I come from the lakeside city of kisumu, Its a good place with diversified culture ,the main economic activity is fishing and farming .
I am still single and planning to get married in the next two years, however I leave with my niece whose parents passed on,he is currently in class 4 and wants to be a nurse.
I am a basketbal fun,and play basketbal when free,I also watch football and like making new friends.
I am a nutritionist by profession and my business entails selling of food supplements to malnutrition kids and HIV patients. I sell homemade flour with various elements to provide various nutrients to kids and adults. I use groundnut ,soya, rice, millet, cassava, maize ,omena ,amaranth and sorghum to make my flour. I do not add any additive and ensure my flour is prepared in clear environment, I also sell other supplements such wheeterbix and fruit juice for both grown up and kids. I am planning to introduce fruit salad and jiuce .
I choose these business because most kids and sick are malnutrition and need cheap alternative nutrients source .Since I know the formulations ,I thought its good idea to help my community reduce infant mortality rates and death rates.
i spend $30 on daily basis to buy ingredients for my business and my daily revenues is $40 . I make average $300 per month. I use my profits to educate my nephew and pay college fees for our last born.
hello lenders ,I would use the $50 i would receive in my first loan to buy more packaging materials for my home made flour so that I can reach more customers and improve on the hygiene. the loan will be very import for my business ,please help me raise my loan
