About Me

I was born in Kenya and brought up in Kenya. I live in Kenya and work in Kenya. I'm a Kenyan citizen by Birth. I've also schooled in Kenya from primary school, secondary school to university level. I set up my personal business which I practice in a town called Thika, near the University I was learning from. I had difficulty starting my business since I had no client to work for. Fortunately while in School, i made some building plans for a brother of a school mate. He was impressed and referred me to some other clients.

My Business

I have never been employed, but I first shared an office with an elder colleague where I gained experience, in the built environment. I studied Architecture which is an interesting career due to different ideas from various people and different topographies of sites. I earn money from production of building plans and model making of small scaled buildings. My business grew from referrals from the clients I started working for while in school. The challenge I had was raising office rent which we shared with the elder guy. Most of my revenues are from building plans I prepare. Some clients also require models and I make them at a fee. My costs are office rent, Electricity and water bills of the office. I also incur printing costs and model making materials. Most of my profit , I plough back to the business.

I WILL ADD MORE COMPUTERS, WHICH ARE MORE POWERFUL TO FACILITATE EASIER DELIVERANCE OF WORK. I WILL SET MY OFFICE WITH MORE RELIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION TO FACILITATE EASIER WORKING ENVIRONMENT BETWEEN MY STAFF AND CLIENTS. I WILL ALSO SET BACK UP MEASURES OF POWER TO AVOID COMPUTER BREAKDOWN DUE TO POWER SURGES THAT SOMETIMES OCCUR WITHIN OUR LOCALITY. THE AVERAGE COST OF A SAMPLE COMPUTER TO BUY ID 500 US DOLLARS AND MAY CONSIDER BUYING THREE OVER TIME.
