am a married man aged 29 years, am married to one wife by the name iadh karimi aged 25 years and a baby girl by the name joy njeri aged 5 years. i thank the lord because He has enabled me raise my small family with the little i earn from my tailoring shop. am able to pay her school fees, to pay house rent and my working place.
i live in teachers A gilgil near njuri njeke building along gilgil nyahururu highway near naruwascco office in gilgil.
i thank the Lord because of my loved wife who is also employed as a stuff at pemblok house school in gilgil along the same highway, from her salary and my earns we are able to live a stress free life.
i thank you also because of this noble idea you have brought to help me and my fellow kenyans to bust our business and to expand then for a good livelihood.
my business is all about tailoring, repairing old clothes, making new cloths and wedding cloths and organisation cloths by order. i have been in this business for now 10 years since 2007. i started by been employed by john tailor shop for 5 years from 2007 to 2011 and thereafter at Elijah tailor shop from 2012 to 2014, for those seven years i was able to save and i bought my own sewing machine for twenty seven thousand, iron box at 2000/= tape maesure at 50/= , stock material for 10000/= and i payed house rent for three months 30,000/= and there i started my business. i thank the lord becuse since then until now ive been builing up my stock from 10000 to 60,000/= by doing this it has not been a walkover sence ive encountered many challenges like the material the customer want i dont have it and i dont have money to purchase it, may be am given an order and since i work alone am not able to finish it at the right time.
i will buy 1 sewing machine at 27000/= to create more workmanship and thus increasing production and also creating job for the jobless, materials for 10,000/= the more stocks i will have will make my customers fill they are in the write place and they will also have confident that even if they have an order my shop can be able to do it without strain. 8000/= will be for advertising and this will make me to be know in the town and have more customers since am targeting schools and the general gilgil population before i extend to nakuru county. The remaing 5000/= will be for safety for those customers who will come with the specified materials.
