About Me

my names are partick mbaya, am 34 years old. i was born and brought up in meru. we are in our family and i am the eldest. being a big family growing up was difficult due to limited source of income, sometimes some of us had to compromise so the the others would get the little we had. our father passed on while we were really young, this meant we had to depend on our mother who was working in a tea factory by that time, she lost her job shortly after our father passed on, things were not good at all, i remember i had to stop going to school for a whole year because we wouldn't raise the school fees required. my mother scummed to pressure and she got ill and pass on a few moths later now being the eldest i was left with the task of taking care of my siblings, i was forced to drop out of school to find a job. i got job in one of our neighbours as a farm boy, i woked there and i was able to take care of my younger sibling, i did like the idea of being left behind so i had a schedule whereby after my work i would go borrow books from my friends and try to learn what they have been taught. i was able to sit for my secondary exams. i did pass but i wouldn't go further due to my financial restrains. thats when i decided to get into dairy cows farming.

during my free time i like getting together with my fellow farmers, this way we discuss how we can better our practice and also give each other advice on any arising problems

My Business

i have 3 dairy cows, and i rely on the milk produce to make my income. i choose these kind of business because i had passion in taking care of cows, its something that really got into me and so far it has helped me a great deal.

i have put my cows into schedule whereby they alternate production seasons, this means i'll have milk all through the year. in a day my cow produces 17 litres of milk, i consume 2 litres and sell 15 litres, a litre goes for kes 70 that means i make kes 1050 a day making it a total of kes 31500 amount.... i spend kes 12685 to buy fodder and feeds for my cows , kes 8000 to take care of my household bills and save kes 10000 per a month.

Loan Proposal

i need to buy roofing materials, timbers and nails to build a better shade for my cows. i requre 150 timbers that will cost me $ 110, i will also require 20 roofing sheets that will cost me $140 and 3kg of nails that will cost me $25 making it a total of $ 275. in my savings i have $125 i only need $150 to commence the building of the shade. thats why i came hear so that i can ask for a helping hand with a promise that i will repay back the loan on time.

the reason why i need to build a better shed is that the current one is worn out and this is the rainy season here, due to the cows being rained on it has reduced the milk production thus my income has gone down, i really do need your help, i hope you will be touch and i will be grateful and keep my word.
