About Me

Am peter ruto from Kenya, a father of three boys and one girl, I schooled to college level where I pursued a diploma in human resource.

I later on struggled to secure a job in vain. I din't give up and with passion for farming which I gained at a tender age and was motivated by my parents who were small scale farmers.
I decided to start a small poultry business way back in 2012.
My children are in higher primary school and with help from my wife I am working hard to provide for family upkeep and run my business.

My Business

Ruto poultry farm started way back in 2012 with aim to earn a living and provide for my family,
later on after learning from parents neighbours and attending seminars I managed to expand and improve my business which started making money from selling eggs, small chiks , chiken for meat and manure.

I have gained customers who visit my farm regularly to learn and buy chiks as they wish to start their own farm.

I intend to venture into importing and selling of chiken cages due to demand as many farmers are now adopting to cage battery system.

Project Proposal

This loan will go straight to buying of fertilized eggs, sasso and kroilers breed to hatch the eggs and brood them to sell chiks. I have demand for 6000 one day old chiks, the loan will help with meeting the demand.

hello, good evening my good people, the granted funds will help me venture into buying of a chiken feed mixer machine, this machine helps with mixing of chiken feeds to reduce the cost of feeds and to also sell feeds to other poultry farmers.
