I was born in a humble family in Meru County. I did my schooling with a hardship situation because of a financial resources from my family. But I managed to complete my form four. To continue my educational process it took me another hardship labor in order to go to college. I was working as a farmer in various farm in order to have some cash to sustain my educational pursue. Now I had a call to serve the church and currently working as a Evangelist in Presbyterian Church of East Africa. Currently am posted in Timau PCEA where am living with my family.
Since I joined zidisha,my business has grown rapidly. I started with a small beauty Solon named blessed hair saloon. Through funding from zidisha,I was able to stock other products as the demand was.these were things like cosmetics, waves and braids, different types of oils, and many others. As the business grew,I was able to introduce a barber shop inside the saloon. This was to take care of men needs.Hear they can step in and have their hair shaved. Not only men but also ladies who wish to shave.
As a result of meeting these customers demand, my business has grown to greater height. This has increased the income of My family. Iam now able to pay school fees for my daughter who is in highschool. As a result I have also been able to join college. Moving forward, their are still some more commodities I wish to stock in future.
this time we would like to add some more stocks on the product we are using. The items which we are going to buy as following:
1. weaves US$ 60
2. hair piece US$ 35
3. Oil US$ 25
4. Hair Chemical US$ 30
5. Other Cosmetic items US$ 50
Total US$ 200
With that amount I believe it will improve my business from where it is.
Thank you for your generous support
