My name is Irene Koech a resident of Nakuru and a former pupil at Karinga primary school, Gilgil girls secondary school in Nakuru county. I started my business five years ago of selling fruits with the help of my husband who financed me in starting up this business to date, i have managed to buy a piece of land where i plat different fruits as well as educate my kids.
i have three kids, two in secondary school and one in class six.
i sale fruits in Nakuru town at the market where i have a shop and sale my fruits from, I provide different kinds of fruits for example water melon, pineapples, apples, mangoes, oranges and so one. These goods are very useful since they are good sources of vitamins to out bodies and thus builds on our health. i chose to do this business because after carrying out a thorough market research in Nakuru county, i realized the demand for fresh fruits are very high. i chose this business because i could readily access fruits from the local farmers around and also my business was well positioned in town where i could win a lot of customers.
I use my income to take care of my children, my business and also
support my aging mother at home
I will use these loan to buy a blender for making juice in my stand. The blender goes for for 60 us dollars, given a loan fund of 23 us dollars, i will add 37 more use dollars and purchase the blender.
I will benefit from the blender because with the blender i will be preparing juice from the over ripped fruits and thus avoiding wastage's and making more income. I expect a 20 us dollars income rise
