About Me

I was brought up a second born in a family of 8, at the age of 12, I lost both parents leaving me to be responsible with the help of my elder brother. I went to primary school and did well with a mean grade of B+ and proceeded to high school where raising fee was so hard but with perseverence and with the help of my other close family members, friends and government aids got some bursaries to completion, I consequently attained B- and missed a direct government sponsorship to university . I later proceeded and raised some funds and managed to join a university to pursue a three and a half diploma course in Nursing; I completed first year and since I couldnt get more funds, I resorted to starting my own business of small scale selling of soft drinks to help me raise more money for further studies and equally help my younger siblings. I enjoy the business environment I am in because it is inhabitted mostly by an ethnic group who enjoy soft drinks for refreshment. Am not yet married but I look forward to being a present father in future and see my children grow to live a better life than mine. I love playing football as a hobby, I am agood midfield player and loves to enjoy my expertise in football to equally give hope and nurture other young talents in young people who watch me play.

My Business

I operate a small scale business basically selling soft drinks which I buy from Cocacola Company dealers in wholesale at a small scale in quantity of crates and sell in terms of single bottle in retail to clients within the market. The soft drinks are in high demand due to the culture of the clients forming the larger market. I buy each crate containing 24 bottles at a total cost of $9 and sell each bottle at a cost of $0.5 making a summing amount of $12 and a calculated profit of $3 for each full crate (24 bottles) sold. I thus save $2 for my school fees and spend $1 for our family on each crate sold. I sell averagely up to 1 crate on a day but would wish to buy more creates from the dealers and increase my scope if I get more capital.

Loan Proposal

I shall be buying more crates of sodas for 0.5dollars per bottle. I shall be selling each bottle at 0.7dollars. With the provision of the loan, i see my business yielding 1200.00 dollars a month, up from 100.00dollars a month.
