Am Charles kariuki mwai...43year old kenyan businessman living and working in Nairobi. Am married and I have three children;a young man 20yrs old in college and working living on his own,a young girl 10yrs of age in class 2 and the last born also a girl 4yrs in kindergarten.
I operate a hardware store and cement distribution across the country. My store is located at Rabai road off Jogoo road next to Happy land School. My source of income comes from the sales of assorted hardware merchandise with average daily sales of between 500usd to 20000usd,sale and supply of building materials and
cement with monthly turnover of between 10000usd to 80000usd.I also farm parut time in loitoktok area on a 10acre farm with average profit of 500usd monthly and a rental property with a nett monthly income of 400usd.
If I got a significant amount,I would buy sand in bulk from source which would be better in terms of cost and it would ensure enough work for the truck for 24hrs a day thus creating employment opportunities for an extra driver and loader and better working conditions for them all.I would also be able to supply more effectively because I would have a bigger stock. My projection for profits on the sand transport would jump from an average of 450dollars to 560dollars.
