Born joseph kamau twenty nine years ago in Gatanga, central Kenya to peasant farmer with five siblings. Attended local primary and secondary schools completing in 2006.Assisted in my father's farm for two years together with casual Labour and raised some capital to open a grocery in Thika town. Used proceeds to pay for an on job training as a mobile phone repair technician. Employed by my trainer for six months, savings obtained plus cash after selling the grocery use to open a small phone repair workshop at Thika where I operate upto date. Married with a five year old son who hope to become an engineer when he grows up. Live among a society where technology is integrals to get to daily lives of all age groups thus Providing a large ocean of opportunities. Spend my free time to socialize and visiting the needy.
My business provides mobile phone repair services to kenyans. The demand is high since around 95% of the local population aged 18 and above own at least a single phone. The business is located at the heart of Thika town which serves as the commercial hub for three counties with a resident population of 750,000 people. Technology is also one of the fastest growing section of the Kenyan economy. The opportunities are unlimited hence my interest coupled with my passion for the same. Rent, electricity, and spare parts are my main costs. On average i make a net profit of 100 dollars per month. Besides supporting my wife, son, and my parents, I am saving to expand my business by buying a rework machine and phone accessories as per the customers demand.
To add stock in my beauty shop, also to add customers services like nail polishing, pedicure and manicure
