I am from a humble background, was brought up in Meru county. I went to a nearby primary school and later joined Gikumene Girls Secondary a provincial school in Meru.
I grew up developing business interests and ended up doing a business course ( Accounts and Finance) at YMCA college Meru branch. While in college I started my beauty products business. I started selling cosmetics to my class/school mates - hustling pocket money. Meru is a very fertile land which does well in agriculture. When i have capital I sometimes grow vegetables in my parents small farm and have always enjoyed the good harvest.
I don't believe in loosing hope any time I start something, I keep on trying untill i achieve what I intended.
So as to achieve my goals, i like doing team work but I choose my friends wisely ie. Friends who add value in my life.
When am free I like visiting & spending time with less fortunate children (orphans) which i do twice or thrice every year. Its my wish & prayer that one day i will have an organization to help bring up & educate those needy children.
I sell ladies beuty products e.g sprays, chains, necklaces, earrings, walking slippers, Makeup products etc.
The products are in high demand I.e to my girlfriends, students and many others since girls can't do without them. They always like to be beautiful.
It was the best business I could do in school to get enough pocket money on top of what i received from my parents and up to date I feel its a rewarding business.
I usually get a profit of at least 20% of the cost on every stock. I sometimes experience credit issues but with time I come up with strategies to recover them.
My profits are for expanding my business and meeting my other personal needs. Am working hard to acquire a beauty shop where i will be selling my products from instead of carrying them around and delivering to clients which is a bit tiring and also expensive. Alongside my beauty products project I also do vegetables farming i.e cabbage which is also doing well.
Describe what you will do with the loan. I once again take this chance to thank you for the continued support which has really helped me fund my business. The loan am requesting now, am planing to purchase necklaces for my customers. Am looking forward for your help. Thank you
