About Me

My name is Tabitha from Nairobi city. I grew up in the Kayole slams where i went to primary school. I passed very well and received a scholarship to study my high school at the alliance boys high school. I finished school with good qualifications and joined the University of Nairobi. Despite having the scholarship and getting to study at high cost school, i do not forget that i am from the slums and my mother who has raised four children as a single parent after my father's death needs help because she is a housewife. My siblings are in primary school. This drove me to start a business that i could do as i study. I used my brain as my business and i started doing assignments for my colleagues and their projects as i saved money until i bought a laptop to help me with the work. My hobby is watching movies and reading novels. The unique thing in Nairobi is that it is the biggest city and the most advanced in our country yet it has the biggest slum, the korogocho slum where i live.

My Business

I started online writing after i bought my laptop from my savings. It is a second hand one and according to the money that i had, i could afford a low quality laptop and it has very little space. If i am given a loan of 15 us dollars i will use it to buy an external storage hard disk worth 13 us dollars and i will use the 2 us dollars to buy a USB cable. It will help me to save the projects that i do and all the online assignments and articles that i prepare. This will make my work easier and secure
I do online writing, assignments for my colleagues and i also do projects for people. It is in demand because many people study and work at the same time so they do not have the time to do their projects or assignments. Some are just lazy and cannot do their own work. It is useful because it enables people to have their works done at the right time. I use the money to support my family, i ensure that they get food, clothing and i pay the rent of our house. I get up to 8 us dollars in a day for all the work i do but still the needs at my home are more. I end up saving about 5us dollars in a week. What really keeps me focused in my work is that i want a good life for my siblings and i want them to get good education.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loan to buy a new laptop battery that costs 30 us dollars. Given 10 us dollars, i will add the remaining 20 us dollars, i will benefit so much because with the new battery, i can be able to work in cases of power black outs and finish my clients work on time.
