Introduce yourself to lenders.
Am Charles, born in Kakamega and brought up in Kamba land. I went to a nearby primary school and also secondary. I was not able to continue with studies. I later went to Nairobi where I have worked as a carpenter in construction companies for more than 8 years. As a part time job I have employed people to sell milk on retail prize.
Describe your business or income source
Apart from my carpentry skills,
I sell milk on a new device called milk ATM. The cost of packet milk in Kenya is high but ATM milk is cheaper and people are going for it. I use the profit got to pay my rent and soon I will be saving to take driving licence. I want to attend a driving school and obtain a driving permit.
Describe what you will do with the loan.
I will use $30 to buy 50 litres of milk at $0.6 per litre. I will add the extra $6 . We sell a litre at $ 0.8 . This gives me $40 in a good sales day. I pay my employee $2.5 per day. I use the rest to support my young siblings and I look forward going back to driving school.
