About Me

I am from a family of eight in Kenya.I own a matatu business(mini buses that offer transportation services to the public).I have four mini buses in operation.Nyeri county is my rural ancestral home where i was born and raised in. I was educated in the same area before moving to Nairobi.I had to overcome unemployment hardship to start my own matatu business in Nairobi.I started my matatu business(mini buses that offer transportation service to the public)with only one vehicle back in the year 2009.I then saved the profits that i obtained from this business and re invested back to it and i now own four matatus. The land on which i do business on is very unique in how things are carried out by its dwellers.People are busy and occupied with a job all the time, no time for resting.Being disciplined is all that i want my children to be in the future.I love telling stories as my hobby whenever i am free.

My Business

I came to Nairobi in the year 2003 from my rural ancestral home in Nyeri County.I settled at a place called Mlolongo where i worked for a certain food manufacturing company. I saved my income and bought one matatu(Kenyan language of mini buses that offer public transportation services) which plied the Mlolongo route.I have been able to manage my matatu business so well since i began it some years back and i have been able to reinvest my profits back to the business and now i have four matatus which are operational and on the road. The reason why this public transportation business is in demand is because not everyone owns a private car and that people travel through public means of transport everyday and especially on road.I choose this business because it was lucrative and was in high demand.I re invest the profits that i get from the business to help me expand my matatu business.

Loan Proposal

This loan has come in handy at the best time when i was in need of a loan to assist me service and repair my matatus(public transportation buses). My matatus have some mechanical problems and i currently do not have any enough to service them. This loan therefore is going to assist me take them to a garage and get the much needed service and repairs that they require. This will enable my matatus be on top performance on road and will not breakdown easily. This services and repairs that the loan will help me do, is going to lower my expenses of maintaining these matatus because they will be in their top performance. This loan will also help me renovate the interior of my buses for more comfort. Most customers prefer a comfortable matatu and that which is in its top performance. This will increase my income and boost the income that i get from this business. It will also benefit my workers because they will have an increase in their salaries.
