My name is Carol, a single mother of one . I am an entrepreneur i am into cosmetics and groceries. I did my secondary education and wanted to train as a nurse but i dont have capital. I became pregnant and life was very tough for me until my parents gave me some capital to start business. I started this business a couple of months ago to have an income and so far I can say it's good. I am trying to meet people's needs in term of groceries and being able to deliver is really nice. I live in a community where women especially support each so i have joined a few groups where am working with other women to support each other in life. My daughter wants to become a pilot when she grows up.
I own and operate my own shop at chiwempala market. Its a busy area and so far business has been okay. I sell cosmetics for ladies which include perfumes. lotion, nail polish and other small needs for women. I on the other side also sell groceries assorted including soft drinks. I currently have employed one girl who is an orphan in my community but have trusted and am happy also being able to give job opportunity to someone is fulfilling. I am hoping that I will be able to expand and make more with your help. The only challenge i face is transport to get my goods because i travel some distance where i buy on wholesale.I make a profit of about k450 every week but if my business increase i will be able to make more.
.
May I thank all my backers for considering my business proposal. am a business lady and very hard working. I am applying for a business loan amount K496. I run my own shop and I sell groceries as well as cosmetics and am looking for funding to help me achieve my dream, I want my business to grow to help me support my family and also to help me meet daily needs. The business I run is on demand and am confident that with your support from the Zidisha community I will be able to increase my business. The loan I will get I will buy assorted items to increase inventory in my shop and all the profit I will reinvest in the business so that it can grow. I look forward to your support.
