I am born in a family of small scale famers, went through Memisi primary school and later Mosisa day secondary school.
After my form four I joined Elgonview college and did a certificate course in business administration.
During my studies, I met a friend who was businessman and in my interaction with him, I developed great interest in business.
It was difficult to get the starting capital for a reasonable business. I sought for grants from relatives and adding to a little proceeds from the vegetable farming I was practising, I started a mitumba business with one bale costing 4000 Kenyan shillings.
My children want to own big businesses when they grow
I sale mitumba(second hand clothes) because they are affordable to our community.
I raised my capital from the sale of vegetable produce from our farm plus a little grant from relatives
I will buy 8 pieces of vests for $ 4
