i was raised in a family of 3 girls and 2 boys where i am the second born, went through primary, high school and now pursuing a degree in bachelor of Commerce finance option. My entire business helps me to relieve my parents from the strains of catering my studies and that of my brother's who are also at college From my business I am able to pay my rent, bills .
i decided to start a small computer service business that is earning me at least ksh. 400 a a day. in my business i typeset, print and photocopy documents for my clients who are mostly students from RVIST college where my business is strategically located near their gate. i also sell pens, drinks fullscaps, memory cards and memory cards. My customers prefer my services since they are served very fast and get the goods at the lowest prices compared with the nearby competitors and this attracts many customers to my business, which means more profits. In a month it costs me in maintaining and replacement of printer parts including ink cartridges, purchase of more stock such as printing papers and other stationery, but also it earns me sales amounting to not less than ksh.15,000, giving me an average profit of kshs. 10,000 to kshs.18,000
since its nearing to the exam period for the Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) with the loan i will purchase additional stock for printing papers and a few stationery that may be needed during that exam period that are almost out of stock for my business.
