I am from a family of 4, born and raised in Nairobi. I have a Diploma in marketing and sales and also a certificate in secretarial studies. Due to the high unemployment rate in y country, I ventured into business almost three years ago to better my life and those of my siblings. While the business growth has been slow, it is steady and I am hoping for better times ahead. I deal with second hand clothes which I hawk from on City's estate to the other.
I am a very goal oriented kind of person,i always set goals and achieve them. I am also very hungry for knowledge.I believe that in learning...you get to grow in life and business as well as career wise. Giving back to society is also something i love doing. Mostly i participate in runs and walks for charity. I can play a guitar and I am a choir member at Ruaka PCEA church.
I deal in secondhand clothes business, and this how I earn on average every month.
Monthly Sales $300
Expenses $120
Miscellaneous $ 60
Profit $120
My business is still small but i can see a future because am not giving up any day soon. I hawk second hand clothes to people who i am recommended to by my clients and friend. I know with time i will buy a truck and i will be doing the same business of taking my products(clothes)to my customers at the comfort of there homes, offices, etc, depending on there preferences
The loan will help me alot.I will divide it in to two haves.one half i will get more stock both second hand and new clothes to sell to my clients. And the other half...i will get bak to a local driving school and apply for a refresher driving course since i want to make my business of delivering clothes in a car a reality
