Am Elizabeth Wamboi and I was born in Eldoret town Huruma estate in the year 1989.from single parent of whom latter died when I was still 12 years.
I went to school as follows from the year 1997 to 2004 in Town ship Primary School.and in year 2005 to 2008 in Umoja secondary School.and being that I did not have my own parents I could not continue with my education to the University.therefore I stopped there at high School level.
Latter I got a casual job at the supper market in the town for about two years that enabled me to meet my own bills.
I started my own business after I saved money from my earning from the same job.
The unique things in this place is that girls are expected to get married after schooling even though you don't have a choice yet.
My one Child is still in lower primary School therefore he cannot decide yet and last one is a toddler.
My unique hobby is Swimming with husband over the weekend.
I own grocery shop and therefore I sells fresh vegetables Tomatoes ,onions and all types cereals to my customers in this region and beyond.
This types of goods are in big demand because kanmukunji estate is a place with large number of people living or in other word it is over crowded.
I chose this kind of business because it is to get at near by market place in Eldoret town and because there is ready market.
My typical cost is 25,000KES.
This how I spend money I get from this business. .
1.School fees for my Child =5000KES.
2.Reinvesting to grow the business .2000KES.
3.Home improvement= 12000KES.
4.Church activities =1000KES.
When am given this loan amount then I will buy Bananas at 6 US Dollars for my business.
This will increase my stock, my sales and income as well .People also will love my shop because of good stock that I have.
I expect this business to grow by 20% this time and in the near future the more.
Thanks again in advance for lending me.
God bless you and Zidisha
