I am Joseph Anambo Ongombe aged 31 years .I am married to one wife with three children .i.e a son and two daughters …….Iam a business man but still have my own profession .I was born in Maseno western Kenya .I went to school in eighties and successfully past primary school .I joined secondary school but unfortunately I could not sit for the form four exam due to lack of school fees. But that did not kill my dream I joined a technical institute where I did training in handwork (i.e carpentry & masonry )these two have been the career of my life up to date and they sustain my life .At first I could do masonry as manual work but later I began doing it as a competent architecture.
Still I felt business can boost my earning .Since Iam also a capenter I choose to open a furniture yard which today gives me a lot of money than masonry. But I cant leave masonry because the little I get from it helps me boost my business I therefore chose to employ somebody in my yard .I currently have two carpenters who are doing the Job but I also take time to stay there and monitor the development.
My business is furniture yard .I began with a capital of ksh.30,000 in the year 2012.At the beginning it was very challenging because I had no customers But I did not give up and today I have many customers because of the quality of the products I produce and also on the account of faithfulness to customers.
For the time I have been in the business I have seen its fruits ,my life has changed greatly .I can at least support my family without straining like before.I am a sole bread winner to the family and also I normally support my parents with the cash I get from the business.
The challenge I face is competition and also lack of funds to get enough row material for the business.
Dear lenders ,
Thanks very much for giving me a chance to request a loan from you.I would like to propose that given funding I will use the loan to all the 200 us dollars to buy timber which is the main raw material for my business.
The move will enable me to make ready made furniture in order to meet the demand of customers who come for ready made products.Their are those who ask for ready made and their are those who pay deposit and they wait for their commodity to be ready in a weeks time.
By so doing I believe my sales and profits will increase and I will be able to pay back loan conveniently.God bless you.
