About Me

My name is Joseph. I was born in Trans-nzoia County in the year 1988 raised up in Kitale region. My life in rural area was not favorable until i decided to move to Kitale town in such of job opportunity. I am a responsible married person to one wife called Caroline Ochieng.
My dream for future is to have a show room for my business.
I got interested in furniture soon after joining the church and got in touch with young guys in the church who took me to their carpentry workshop and found how they were making good furniture. This gave me courage to learn start learning about wood work and furniture.
Later I started my own workshop instead.

My Business

I make chairs, beds, coffee table, dressing mirror, and all wood work accessories.
I decided to start my business in the year 2014.
I started furniture and wood work industry so i could fend for my livelihood and the livelihood of my family. I also wanted to create job opportunity in the market place to train and employ jobless youths in the community.
My biggest challenge is financial capital to expand and boost my business.
My customers are local traders within Kitale market. They comprise men and women, retailers and wholesalers.
My goals are one, to open show room, buy a place for my workshop and educate orphans and vulnerable children up to university.
I proud of handcrafts and artistic woodwork.

Loan Proposal

The purpose of this loan is to add more timbers which will cost Kshs 10,000
This purchase of timbers will increase my revenue by 50% of the total capital. And i will be in a better place to and my stock in order to serve my customers without any difficulties.
My business will be impacted by this loan because of the demand i always experience in the market place which for a long time could not serve my customers' expectation due to lack of enough capital.
This loan will add value in my life and also increase my income so that i will be able to provide for my family.
