i was born in 1989 in a small village in miruka mombasa county.i went to school at masosa secondary where most of the time i was sent home for school fees, but all the same i must to pass and join the university of Nairobi for a bachelor of commerce degree in procurement which i finished two years ago.i have been tarmacking looking for a job without success, till i decided to venture in livestock farming which i hope well done will make my hopes come true of becoming an important to the society.
i will like my children to pursue courses which much their talents but i admire them to study medicine and engineering courses.
i like reading novels, listening to business news or reading, and motivating young people within the estate and in the village when i am there.
since i was young i have always admired goat rearing since i used to accompany my grandfather to go grazing, this made me develop an interest in improving on this practice which i believe has a great potential to fetch great incomes because the area that i will be rearing them is expansive and is fit for the browsing habits for goats.demand of late has greatly increased with the introduction of devolved government which has led to more people having the ability to purchase even in the rural areas and hence it a very promising business.
currently i have 4 goats and i therefore i want to increase the number to about 8goats.per a goat i am able to make a profit of kshs.1500,especially the coming of the Easter holidays.
costs include cost of medicine, feeds which are not very expensive.i will use the profits for reinforcement of the business.
dear lenders as mentioned above i need to add more goats to my flock which i will later sell at higher price and make profit.
currently one goat goes at around 1500kes so withe the loan i can buy 4 more goats which is not bad for a start.am targeting this coming Easter holidays so that i can sell my goats at higher price and i will use the profit to buy more goats and later milk cows.
in a nutshell, everything that i will raise here through zidisha will go towards the purchase of the said goats and the remainder will be used to buy the feeds.kindly help me achieve this goal.
