About Me

Hello I'm a business woman, I started on a local grocery 30years ago and it helps me pay school fee for my five kids. I also Daily farming where I have a dairy cow, 2 goat and several chicken. More to that I have my land where I cultivate on my own. I also have a tea farm where I sell a get money every end month.

My Business

I get money from selling vegetables some from home and others bought in wholesale then I sell in retail. I also sell milk from my cow every morning and evening which is approximately 10 litres per day. 1l = 28ks currently I have a nursery seed bed which has over 15000 seedlings ready to be transplanted in 8days from now.

Loan Proposal

I have cultivated my farm now I want to transplant the seedlings from the nursery. I made a sale of 15000 seedlings which was supported by the previous loan. I want to use the loan to add more labour to my farm where I expect to start making a big sale every Friday now that I am an experienced businesswoman. I have already planted 1200 sukuma wiki seedlings which i am now very busy watering. My target which is so simple is each crop to produce atleast 30ksh i.e 30*1200=36000ksh by the end of August

Income Source

It is true that majority of business has stopped some permanently. My work farming vegetables has in fact gained more. The first month when COVID-19 was announced we faced great challenges leading to huge losses. We have now adopted the new normal since the customers come direct to the farm.
