About Me

My father died at the age of 4 with four brothers and 3 sisters who were taken care by our mother alone, we passed through a lot of hardship. I Started schooling at age 7 without any pre school and involved in chard labour. I used to sell different kind of uncooked food items to pay my fees at basic level and I did small scale mining in orther to complete senior high education at (BOASS) My mother gave words of encouragemet even though there was no money to back it and l managed to go through all these hardship until I completed my professional cause at WATICO. Interestingly at tender age I was elected Senior boys prefect.I am married and God has blessed me with 2 boys. The older 5years and the little one 2 and half years. After my professional course I began to help pupils around and that was the begining of my business career. People appreciate good things. Reading and music are my hobbies.

My Business

As a professional teacher I am interested in education therefore l have established Nticare Educational Complex to provide education for students especially those under privilege and my children are performing very well because of the inservice training I provide for my teachers. Most of the public schools are full and the need to established a private school to complement the public ones. I have always used my profits to reinvest in growing the business since my own biological children are young.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, I am indeed very grateful for your continual support towards my dream of imparting knowledge to others through the establishment of a school .
I need two additional classroom block to enable me have a computer laboratory and teachers staff room. This would help boost my school a lot with which repayment of this loan would be regular and reliable.

I hope you're going ok Emmanuel? I hope your hips have been feeling a bit better?

If it would help, Zidisha staff can likely lower your repayment amount, & restructure your loan so you can just pick it up from here? Just update us, & pop them a msg & ask for some help :-) www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

Wishing you all the best, Emma from Australia.

Emma many thanks for your concern. In fact I suffered from hip joint problem on both joints and you know the cost of treating this sickness more especially in Africa and for that matter in Ghana. I've spent every pesewa and by God's grace my condition is improving. Do remember me in your prayers. Thanks and God bless you.

I am very sorry I travelled out of coverage area on assignment during our vacation and thank God I'm back safely.Thank you very much all those who prayed for us during the flood, fortunately nobody died in my community but properties were destroyed including farms so many people find it very very difficult to feed their family twice in a day, also people rended homeless and the black flies invaded the place. Emma yes it came as a result of 'galamsey' illegal mining. In fact in cause of their activities they have destroyed the river banks with long thick rod so it is going to be a permanent situation in every raining seasons thus June -July and September- October as a result of few people and their selfish interest. More over, we thank the President for issuing a ban on illegal mining and the police are doing their best but interestingly some people do it at night when the police have stoped patrols and people are afraid to say because perhaps an attack.

Oh Emmanuel... I am so so very sorry!! That is truly heartbreaking to see :-( Especially the fact it was caused by illegal mining :-(

I think people forget how much every decision we make effects those around us...

Do you happen to know what it was they were mining by any chance? I'd love to do more research on finding ways we can maybe all try and help that sort of thing to happen less...

In the meantime, it would be great if we could maybe all chip in to try assist your community in getting back on their feet...

Have you considered making a fundraiser? Maybe like something on generosity.com - then possibly posting it here on zidisha for those of us who want to offer a bit more support?

I really hope it didn't severely affect too many lives, & hope things can eventually go back to they once were :-)

My thoughts are with you... Do take care, & let us know if we can do anything to help.

    All the best, Emma.

I am very sorry -- flooding takes a long time to clean up. I hope the hospital and schools are put back quickly and that your printing area did not get too much damage.
